Lesley Thompson Smith

Fiddle, whistle, pipes, composer.

Lesley has performed several times on STV and has worked as a session musician performing across Europe in a variety of genres: Folk, Bluegrass, Trad and Gypsy. She also teaches, composes Scottish fiddle tunes, and has competed at the highest level in Scots fiddle, featuring as a Glenfiddich finalist for 3 years. Lesley plays piano, pipes, whistle and mandolin.

Christopher Martin Smith

Percussion, Bodhran, composer.

Chris spent 15 years as a session drummer recording, performing and touring with many artists including Big Country, Nazareth, Dougie Maclean, Kathy Mattea, The Platters, Maggie Riley and Martin Taylor.

Chris also worked as a composer of neo-classical music and his work has featured on tv channels: Classic FM TV, O Music, C Music, The Performance Channel, Al Jazeera and CNN. Chris collaborated with Emmy Award winning Sex and the City producer Michael King.

James Anderson

Guitar

The versatile and genre hopping James (Jimmy) Anderson has recorded and performed across Europe and North America from T in the Park to Telluride, London to Los Angeles, Carnegie Hall to CBGB, with artists as diverse as Dougie Maclean, Kathy Mattea and Shirley Mason.
